                Confederate Political Platform
                          Return to political sanity!

While there is no doubt I am a devoted Confederate States patriot, my mission and purpose is the liberation of the Confederate States of America, rather then curing all the failings of the crumbling Yankee Empire.  However, there are among our numbers, those who would like to see a Confederate patriot political platform, which at the very least is a reasonable place from which to begin.  If our people indeed desire such a platform upon which to make a principled stand, the items listed below is a must for serious consideration.  Their implementation would contribute mightily, toward the vindication of our just and honorable cause.  These enumerated items are merely a rough beginning, but they are at the same time, an excellant starting place.

1. The Supreme Court and the lower federal courts should be required to justify their adjudications according to the written text of the United States Constitution, as to precisely where their powers originate.  Powers which shall be based solely upon those powers enumerated in the constitution itself, and not those assumed or usurped, nor as a result of historical or legal precedence.  This should prove easy for them, since they are claiming to exercise only those powers to which they have been constitutionally empowered.  Therefore there should be no objections whatsoever!

2. The Tenth Amendment must be given equal weight, as the other portion of the constitution, wherein those powers not specifically enumerated in the constitution, shall be restored to the individual States or to the people.  This means federal governance based upon what the constitution actually says, and not what an un-elected federal judiciary decides it says.  Those amendments, which have been ratified as a result of force, or the threat of force, shall be considered an illegitimate part of the Constitution and therefore removed.  This also should prove reasonable in a nation, which boasts of governing by the free will of WE THE PEOPLE, via the ballot box.

3. The issue as to the legitimacy and constitutionality of State Secession shall be satisfied retroactively, as a power reserved to the several States and of the people, inasmuch as secession is not forbidden or enumerated in the Constitution.  Therefore stands as constitutional under the Tenth Amendment, and an inalienable right of self-governance.

4. Let us add to those means by which the U.S. Constitution may be amended, as follows: "Upon the demand of any seven States, legally assembled in their several conventions, the Congress shall summon a Convention of all of the States, to take into consideration such amendments to the Constitution as the said States shall concur in suggesting at the time when the said demand is made; and should any of the proposed amendments agreed upon by the said convention---voting by States---and the same be ratified by the Legislatures of two thirds of the Several States, or by the conventions in two thirds thereof---as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the general convention---they shall henceforth form a part of this Constitution.”

Notice the above describes a closed convention, where only the topic of amending the Constitution is being enumerated.  The convention cannot ratify an amendment; only two thirds of the States can do this.  The words included in the text of the Constitution, does not specify what may be discussed at a convention, thus providing for an open convention.  Also notice the amendment or amendments must have been previously presented to the citizenry at the time the demand to call a convention is made.  There can be no run away convention if the topic is restricted in this manor.  A closed convention is not now provided for in the U.S. Constitution, only an open convention.

5. According to the cause that we are all created equal, and shall receive equal treatment under the law.  Additionally no statute in law or court adjudication shall foster a special classification as to race.  Additionally, the federal government shall be forbidden to enumerate the population by race, according to the census.  Therefore all special privileges, categories and affirmative action programs shall be considered a violation of the laws, regulation, and adjudications under the Constitution.  All citizens shall therefore be treated equal under the law based upon the here and now, rather then historical events or precedence.  There shall not be devised any social engineering projects or programs, in the carrying out these provisions.

6. There shall be no international treaties, agreements or resolutions which shall hold precedence, override, or exercise veto power over the United States Constitution, the Constitutions of the several States, nor the regulations, adjudications and customs thereof.  Neither shall international organizations shall be permitted to exercise authority within the borders of the several States.

7. There shall be no immigrant who shall have illegally and unconstitutionally entered the States or territories of the United States, that shall be granted citizenship, nor enjoy the privileges and benefits thereof.  Those wishing to enter, shall be recognized only after they shall have done so by lawful and constitutional means.  Those having never met these prerequisites shall be deported, or in extreme cases, which shall be defined in law, they may be granted a six months temporary visa.  There shall be no open border immigration policy and visitors shall depart after a reasonable period of time.

8. Becoming a Citizen of these United States, shall be conferred only after said person shall have been accepted by and has become a citizen of, one of the several State or territories.  Naturalized citizenship shall carry a mandate of basic knowledge as to our constitution, form of government as well as be able to read, write and speak in the English language.  There shall be no racial or foreign national identity added on to the description of any citizen.  These shall include but not be limited to hyphenated titles such as: Hispanic American, African American or Asian American.  Their status of citizenship shall eliminate such classifications!

9. All domestic governance shall be the jurisdiction of the individual States as sovereigns, whereby they will function as sovereigns within their own borders.  This shall include but will not be limited to issues such as abortion, as well as the Holy Bible and Prayer in the public schools.  Additionally all lands within the several States shall come under the jurisdiction of the individual States, save where lands are leased to the federal government for a fixed period of time, wherein the lease may be terminated for cause.  According to these provisions all national parks shall become State Parks!  The acceptation will be the precise tract of land designated as the federal capital of Washington DC, upon the founding of that city.

10. The intermingling of the federal government and business has proved a detriment to the Citizens of the several States, therefore the regulation and licensing of all business, shall be the sole jurisdiction of the several States.  This shall include but not limited to the licensing of the broadcast, cable, satellite and printed media!  Thereby all commercial enterprises shall be subject solely to State or local governance, within the border of any particular State.  Under these provisions no mass media network or corporation, shall use their national or international status in order to avoid adherence to State laws and regulations.

Again, these items should be considered only a beginning, however, should they be enacted, there would be no difficulty in liberating the Confederate States of America, and reactivating our own valid Confederate States Constitution.  Our movement in particular, as well as the Southern People in general, would no longer have any excuse for being inactive.

God save the Confederacy

If a man can not stand firm for honor and principle before the footmen, what will he do when the horsemen come?   Shall he compromise with tyranny in order to purchase ease and comfort for a season, at the expense of his own posterity?

There are many among our numbers claiming to be Confederate and Southern while having already traversed the road of treason, caused by an attitude of procrastination, compromise and complacency.

He who will surrender his own history, heritage, culture and nationhood today for the sake of ease and comfort will surrender his liberty on that same alter tomorrow.  In like manor, he who accepts the ways of his enemy, sells his soul to them and will in due course of time, find the price measured in blood.
