                 Principled Politics

The time will come wherein Confederates have reentered the halls of political power, there will likely be Confederate Caucuses, Confederate Political Action Committees and even a true Confederate Political Party.  These elements will spring up in a large number of States, Counties, Parishes and Metropolitan areas.  Therefore a general guide should be established in order to move our agenda forward in this new arena!  The below ten items are intended as a general guide and are not all-inclusive.  The Proclamation of Independence should also be consulted for a scholarly reading as to the status of the Confederate States of America.


The time will come wherein Confederates have reentered the halls of political power, there will likely be Confederate Caucuses, Confederate Political Action Committees and even a true Confederate Political Party.  These elements will spring up in a large number of States, Counties, Parishes and Metropolitan areas.  Therefore a general guide should be established in order to move our agenda forward in this new arena!  The below ten items are intended as a general guide and are not all-inclusive.  The Proclamation of Independence should also be consulted for a scholarly reading as to the status of the Confederate States of America. Below are some of the critical issues, which shed light on the Confederate position to be taken:

1.  Candidates:  Those seeking political office as Confederates cannot fall back on simply being Southern nor is there room for a compromise on the key elements of our platform.  Therefore our candidate must of necessity be openly Confederate, taking a firm non-negotiable, open and bold position in behalf of our just and honorable cause.

2.  Secession:  The issue of secession only applies to those states, which have never seceded and wish to separate from the 'Union of States.’  Under these conditions it is proper for them pass 'Articles of Secession.'   The thirteen States, which formerly seceded, should not do so again, since this would in effect be saying there previously passed articles were improper, illegal or unconstitutional, which is not the case.

3.  Articles of Reaffirmation:  The thirteen States which formerly seceded were forced to rescind their Articles of Secession; the vary act of having used force negates the rescinding of these articles.  The same principle by which the testimony of a witness is invalid if given under force, the threat of force of intimidation applies here.  Therefore the original Articles of Secession are valid retroactive to their original dates and all that is necessary is for each of these States to pass articles reaffirming these truths.

4.  Status of the Confederacy:  The Confederate States of America was never dissolved as a nation nor was the Confederate States Constitution rescinded in a similar manner in which it was ratified.  Therefore the Confederate States of America remains in the status of an occupied nation, its constitution in force but suppressed and the offices of the Confederate States Government vacant but valid.

5.  Domestic Issues:  The federal government has usurped vast powers which have never been granted or enumerated the U.S. Constitution; therefore it will be the policy of Confederates once in office to return the power to govern over all domestic affairs to the jurisdiction of the States and or local governments.  Among these domestic issues, which will be restored to the individual States, is the issue of abortion, prayer and bibles in the school as well as that of race.

6.  Citizenship:  While our nation has been under occupation we have obviously all become U.S. Citizens, therefore once the Confederacy has been liberated we will be taking nothing away from anyone by refusing citizenship to certain individuals.  However our position should be used as a sword or a threat against otherwise innocent people.  The test is their belief in and advocacy of our history, heritage, culture and nationhood as well as living at peace within the Confederacy.

7.  Civil Terrorism: There have arisen certain groups which are exemplify undesirables who will of necessity need to be evicted from the Confederacy, among these are the Southern Poverty Law Center, American Civil Liberties Union, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Klux Klux Klan, Nazi Party and the Communist Party.  Those cases of extreme liberalism should also be reviewed carefully before a decision is made.  The urgency here is to end 'civil terrorism' under any name!

8.  Freedom of Religion:  The Confederate States Constitution like the U.S. Constitution has provision within it for the free exercise of religion or 'freedom of religion' however there are no provisions for 'freedom from religion.'   None-the-less there are certain religions, which have proven themselves exceedingly dangerous to the well being any society and nation, among which is that of Muslim or Islam.  Therefore we will not be taking anything away from them by denying such people citizenship!

9.  Christian Society:  The Christian Faith has been the bedrock and foundation of western civilization, even though in the past century it has been undermined by government, blasphemed by the entertainment industry and perused by 'civil terrorists.'   Once liberation has been achieved Christianity will be restored to its prominent place in society.  The idea that somehow this means establishing a theocracy is false and is a concept used aggressively as a weapon to suppress Christianity.

10.  There are those who falsely maintain they have managed to fill the now valid but vacant offices in the Confederate States Government, and therefore believe they hold the authority to decide who is and is not a Confederate States Citizen.  The offices in question as well as Confederate States Citizenship will be decided in the proper manner and at the proper time, via special elections to be arranged for that purpose.

Beauregard.  The previous is an historic quotation and nothing need be added or subtracted, save that today we might include Scalawags and Traitors to the reference concerning the North.  Plus we do make positive allowances for Copperheads, Northern Confederates, Friends and Allies of the Confederate States of America; to these we extend our gratitude!
